Corey was our wedding DJ in October at the Rookery Building. Our initial meeting with him was great - he was very professional and it was obvious that he has extensive experience as a wedding DJ.
We trusted him on our wedding day for both ceremony and reception music - he totally surpassed our expectations! He knew exactly what to do at all times, played amazing music that matched our taste, and even acted as a pseudo coordinator (transitioning between events, making the right announcements, dimming the lights, etc.). I highly recommend Corey as a DJ for any event!!

Talent City Artists (aka Corey Sanford) was first rate to work with. We hired him to DJ during the cocktail hour of our wedding as well as the after party. He went the extra mile making sure that everything looked super cool while he was spinning. He was also comfortable working with us to make sure he was playing the music that would get the audience dancing. And HUGE props to him for staying after hours and continuing to spin beats. He could have easily said my shift is over but he was willing to work the extra hours.
He also has the ability and desire to play all genres depending on the environment. I interviewed A LOT of DJs and found Cory the most professional and experienced. A DJ can make or break a party and Cory certainly enhanced it.
I would definitely recommend him for a wide range of parties including weddings.

I first heard Corey spin at a friend's outdoor wedding on the 4th of July, then realized I had been at several fun events that he was working. He plays a good range of music and pays attention to the crowd, which is important for any party or social setting. I highly recommend him to my industry clients.

Corey is THE BEST!!! He deserves something like..100 billion stars. Corey was the DJ for my wedding and he was absolutely amazing. Not only because he played great music and could read the crowd but because he actually cared about us and our wedding day.
I was a terrible bride and pushed everything entertainment-related off until the last minute (literally, 1.5 days before our wedding). Corey was more than willing to meet with us and help us figure out the timeline of events and what music should be played. He was intuitive enough to know what we liked and disliked and applied this to areas of our wedding where we just said "eff it, play whatever".
My husband developed a 102 degree fever the day before the wedding. Corey would check up on us to see how he was doing. 1 AM, the night before the wedding, I made several changes to my timeline and what my first dance song would be. Corey didn't mind and didn't freak out (and he didn't make me feel bad!). He checked our planner (he has a planner on his website for you to use) first thing in the morning and was good to go.
Our ceremony didn't start until 6pm. Corey showed up at our venue by 2pm to check out the space, set up, and make sure everything was perfect. Because my husband and I were a couple of idiots when it came to wedding planning, Corey pretty much guided us through our wedding day (at the same time, he doesn't destroy your personality and doesn't turn your vision of the wedding into something you don't want). He made sure our parents were in the room before announcing them, he checked to see if my dad was in the room before he announced the Father/Daughter dance. Stuff like that. This may not seem like a big deal but it's a pretty big deal when its time for your dance and your dad's in the bathroom! He even operated the lighting at my venue since my lighting company didn't supply a technician.
I am a control freak and began planning my wedding 1.5 years in advance. Despite this, I still fell behind and things still got crazy! Without my awesome vendors (see Museum of Science and Industry, Kloeckner Preferred Flowers, Miller and Miller photography) I would not have had my dream wedding. I totally picked the right people =D
Corey is super! Professional, accountable, fun, and experienced. We trusted him the moment we met him and he never let us down a single time. He's also very good in non-wedding settings (we've seen him at a fashion show that had a ton of people)
Corey (because I know you're going to read this :))-- thank you soooooooo much for everything!! J and I are so grateful and lucky that we found you for our wedding. We would have looked like idiots running around if it hadn't been for your patience, guidance, and expertise. Thanks for making us look good! See you in September! (That's right, people. He's so awesome we sent 2 of our friends to book him for their weddings!)
